LOVE according to Aveen ;)

LOVE doesn't keep people together, it's the company we miss

LOVE doesn't stay strong forever, it's the friendship that we keep

LOVE doesn't have a happy endings, because it hurts you and the hurting never ends

LOVE is a illusion that we create, and get lost it in together

LOVE is the felling of someone being there for YOU

-------- after all it's LOVE

Politics vs. Us

I wanted to be a politician and while I write this what is most unfortunate I can’t decide. Is it the fact I am a Bangladeshi or I can’t really say that I am inspired by any of the politician in Bangladesh.

Like most people I am fond of power and to me power is to be able to speak and make people listen. I know all the celebrity and royals always do that, but unlike them politician make people to listen to them just by talking to them and giving them hopes. Yeah, HOPE would be another word that none of the Bangladeshi’s will want to hear from a politician because they have been betrayed by the politicians false hope ever since Bangladesh was born. In fact, the politician made our country as such no one, I mean who has sense and rationality wants to be a politician. No parents wants their kids to be involved in politics, I doubt even the politician wants their kids to be a politician.

Given this situation, have we ever thought who would run the country in future? We all say nothing will change in Bangladesh OR what can I do, I am just one person, for them please think again, it’s you who can. If more and more sensible people, if more and more educated people does not come in politics then Bangladesh will always be like this. Just sending few people in jail will not do anything.

There are TWO things about Bangladeshi politics that bothers me most. First, with all due respect to Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Ziaur Rahman what they did for Bangladesh was amazing, but when people will understand they are dead, they are ideology is also dead with them. Awami League does not run with the ideology of Sheikh Mujib neither BMP follows the ideology of Ziaur Rahman. So weak up Bangladeshi people, it’s not Awami League or BMP who can change our country it’s the people who are in these parties that matters, so while voting don’t just vote for the party rather vote for the person. If you don’t do that no one will ever come forward to change your fate. The other thing which bothers me most is the attitude of the parents and apparently all the educated people about student politics. If you do not like fighting in student politics it’s ok, if you don’t like students to support a killer or someone like that it’s ok but what’s with politics? To parents if your kid joins a debate club/or any other club that you approve instead of a political party he might be more twisted, those clubs sure do have politics and some time it’s worst than political parties.

However, if you are a Bangladeshi student and actually reading this bullshit I write, please think what do you want to be in life? Can you ever deny you are from Bangladesh? And whatever you do in life don’t you think if “THIS POLITICAL” situation of Bangladesh changes, you will be in BIG shit? Think it over. Try to change if not anything at least the attitude ...

The CRUEL Truth

Life is wired; you don’t really know what will happen when. Unexpected things happen most expectedly. I guess you have heard it before will hear it another thousand times, may be you have used this line already. However, the point I am trying to make what if these unexpected things are always negative. Have you ever met someone like that if the answer is yes; then tell that person s/he is not the only one; if no congratulations here I am.

I have stop hoping for good things both expected and unexpected, to some extent I have even stopped expecting ok things; I mean things which are neither good nor bad. The next thing I am waiting for my graduation which is taking more than 5 years, so I guess that’s already bad enough and I am expected to finish it by March but who am I to tell that … it should be good knows when. I know lot of people who are doing jobs … finishing graduation … having a good life and what not. I hope I can have good things to like them. Yah, I know you might say there are millions of people who have even worst luck compared to my luck but what the hell man … in my life there is not a single thing that goes normally there has to be a twist always.

These are the cruel truth of life … I hope in your life something goes right if not everything.

Long Lost Love

I am somewhat working for AIESEC BRAC University for some month now. Whenever they need me to do anything, I always try to be there. But it seems AIESEC is lost from my life. I don't feel the passion, the crave for AIESEC anymore.

Even "The Eastern Dragons" (I hear they are changing it to Air Force One) can't motivate me to listen about any matter of AIESEC. It's good I guess, now for a change I can search for something that might last longer than AIESEC.

I was reading Mel's Blog few days back one of her, what should I say observation - which was when AIESEC will reach 100 years in 2048 what will we do and how would I feel. I guess I would remember all the friends that I made from AIESEC. And some little changes that AIESEC brought to me. For example, how I used to hate Australia before I went to AP'06, or the friends I have made all over the world and off course here in Dhaka as well. Some of my best freinds, infact almost all of my best friends now are from AIESEC.

I guess, the name AIESEC will give me the feeling of LONG LOST LOVE whenever I will think about it in future. But unlike all long lost love's it will give a good buzz ...
